“Thank you!” and “Cheers!” to everyone who visited our Wine and Chocolate event on February 10.
We had a great time while investigating how chocolate influences the taste of certain wines. Our neighbors lent a hand; The Chocolate Mill supplied the excellent 58% Belgian chocolate bits, and Samantha’s Cafe prepared the divine salmon mousse appetizers and pastry assortment.
Our colleagues at Lisa’s Wine Intro have organized their own observations into a set of handy blog posts. Have a look and use Lisa’s notes for more home “Do It Yourself” wine and chocolate projects.
Phil Davis and Lou Damiani consider viticulture “grape-growing” to be the single most important aspect of their craft as quality, vinifera wine producers. Margot and I have tasted their wines and agree that the excellent quality of their grapes shines through in the finished wines.
